FIELD STUDY 01 / Object Archive
Spatial memory game
Remember objects and their places. Observe a small grid, hold the arrangement in mind, then put each object back.
Object Archive
3 objects · 12 seconds to observe
Practice rounds don’t change your level or notebook. Your daily session does.

The task
Spatial recall is about where something was. Object Archive gives you a nine-cell board with distinct shapes. Your task is to remember each shape together with its location, rather than simply recognise which shapes appeared.
- 01
Study the board while the shapes are visible. You have 12 seconds at levels 1–5 and 10 seconds at level 6.
- 02
When the shapes disappear, select a shape from the tray and choose its cell. You can change placements before submitting.
- 03
Check your arrangement. Feedback shows which placements were correct. Complete three rounds to record the exercise.
Remember relationships, not just cells.
Try describing a small pattern to yourself: “circle above the star, triangle to the right.” Another approach is to scan the board in the same order each time. Experiment with one approach for a few sessions and compare results at the same level. This is a strategy to try in the game, not a promise of broader memory improvement.
Know what you’re working toward.
Every object in its original cell earns one correct recall. The score combines all three rounds. At level 1 that means nine possible correct placements; at levels 5 and 6, there are 21. An object in a different cell does not count, even if it is close.

Questions about this exercise
Is this a matching-pairs game?+
No. A matching-pairs game asks you to find pairs of hidden cards. Object Archive asks you to reconstruct a complete arrangement after seeing it once.
What changes at higher levels?+
The board stays at nine cells. Levels 1–5 increase the number of objects from three to seven. Level 6 keeps seven objects and shortens observation from 12 to 10 seconds.
Can I play without an account?+
Yes. The spatial memory exercise is part of the free guided session. Guest results stay on your device for seven days; an account saves your notebook across devices.
